Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) is an initiative by the Government of India (GoI) to help small and medium businesses to create economic opportunities in the growing digital commerce space.

ONDC being an interoperable decentralized network, enables a seller to start selling to the buyers across multiple consumer facing apps and similarly the buyers shall also be able to visit a seller from their favourite/most rewarding apps.

Example: A business registered on ONDC network can sell to the buyers trying to search and buy products from any of the buyer facing apps like GPay, Paytm, PhonePe, etc. without doing multiple integrations with multiple buyer facing e-commerce companies/aggregators

ONDC Seller App is an integration app for the businesses on ERPNext to enable their business on ONDC and perform various functions of a seller like:

a.Publish their catalogue (inventory) and business profile

b.Accept orders by validating the terms and serviceability

c.Fulfil the accepted orders via own logistics / purchased logistics / pick-up by buyer

d.Allow tracking, cancellation and return of accepted / fulfilled orders to buyers

e.Provide support for any issue raised by the buyer
